Results:

  • Four (4) climate profiles for Calarasi, Nisporeni, Leova and Basarabeasca districts (previously developed under UNDP’s concluded NAP- 2 Project) have been supplemented with an Environmental and Gender Component, and an additional (1) Climate and Environmental Profile with a Gender Component was developed for Dubasari district from the Security Zone
  • Two (2) climate profiles – one each for Transnistria and Gagauzia Regions were produced, of which for UTA Gagauzia was completed the Gender component in 2021
  • Six (6) focus groups with participation of 86 women organised to identify the needs of women as result of climate change and environmental risks
  • Five (5) sets of reccomendations on mainstreaming climate change, environment and gender in local development plans of districts (Calarasi, Nisporeni, Leova, Basarabeasca, Dubăsari district from the security zone and UTA Gagauzia) developed, consulted and approved by regional authorities
  • Six (6) LPAs of target areas assisted on the integration of climate change, environment and gender measures in local plans/strategies
